Nokia’s First Touch Screen Phone will be in Asia before the year end
Nokia’s Touch Screen Mobile Phone will be on the market in seven countries in Asia, Europe and the Middle East this year but will miss the Christmas rush in most developed markets during the season.
Their first touch screen phone from Nokia will be sold on India, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Spain and Russia before the year ends. Well how about the Philippines?
The Nokia 5800 will cost $387 or 279 euros much lesser than an iPhone. Neil Mawston an analyst from Strategy Analytics said.
The phone is competitively priced and Nokia’s competitive advantage is in emerging markets. When putting two and two together it’s logical they start the roll-out from emerging markets.
