First flip phone version of BlackBerry
Research In Motion Ltd is launching the first flip phone version of Blackberry from its popular model, the Pearl smartphone. This flip phone version is loaded with multimedia features like music players, 2 megapixel camera with flash, video, abridged keyboard and a web browser.
Seventy percent of the mobile phone users in the United States use a flip,” RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie said in an interview. “There’s never been a smartphone or a BlackBerry option for that.
This new version wil be available all over the world starting autumn.
