Nintendo Co. Ltd sold over 666,000 pieces of its Wii video game console only in the United States last June. The company said that it now becomes the country’s best selling video game console while telling some figures from a market research firm.

Nintendo is a competitor of Microsoft Corp and Sony Corp in the increasing growth of the market for video games. Sold more than 783,000 pieces of its DS handheld gaming device last June and it was also the top selling video game system in the US for the month.

Six out of  top ten best selling games in June was made by Nintendo including Activision Blizzard Inc’s and Guitar Hero On Tour for the DS.
