Google loses share while Yahoo and Microsoft gain
Microsoft Corp and Yahoo Inc gained their share while Google Inc lost ground in the Web search market in June as a result of an industry data released last Friday.
A monthly data by the firm comScore Inc, done through audience research shown that Google’s share of the U.S. Web search market is at 61.5 percent which is down by three tenths of a percentage point compared to last May.
While the number two ranked Yahoo gained a 0.3 of a percentage point to 20.9 percent from last June while the number three Microsoft Inc’s market share increased 0.7 points to 9.2 percent according to comScore Inc.
