Verily, verily. True to some, true to me. Blogging helped me cope with my depression. Yes, I was often depressed because of an illness. Depression sometimes make you think you are alone.
When I started blogging and joining communities (Spicy, Others Online, Blog Catalog, Blog Log, in that order), I felt there were people out there who seemed interested in what I have to say. The best part is it gave me a sense of freedom because I could express myself whenever and however I want. Blogging gave a new leash on my life.
Hail to blogging.
Cheers!

I like to blog for general therapy reasons sometimes too and believe it or not there are companies that have even placed big orders for computer rentals and plasma screen rentals specifically to help jumpstart blogs or get the right technology in bloggers hands so they can share their words. It is amazing how the internet serves as this amazing medium for everybody!
