SingTel to bring iPhone to Asia
Singapore Telecommunications Ltd and its mobile associates will bring Apple Incorporated’s popular iPhone to Southeast Asia’s largest phone company in Singapore, Philippines, India, and Australia later this year.
SingTel said that it is with Bharti Airtel Ltd, Globe Telecom Inc. and Australian’s Optus had signed an agreement with Apple.

With the popularity of Nintendo Wii and with the increase on it sales, Nintendo Wii game machine had made Hiroshi Yamauchi a former Nintendo chairman, the richest man in Japan with over $7.8 billion worth according to Forbes Magazine.
The milestone comes about two months late, but for Apple TV owners—myself included—it’s a welcome development. Still, iTunes has a ways to go before it can catch up with the likes of Amazon Unbox and Vudu.
At long last, TV shows are coming to the Zune—including some of the very shows you can’t get if you’re an iPod user. Still no movies, however, and the selection of 800 episodes pales in comparison to the Xbox Video Marketplace and iTunes.
Launched earlier this week in 58 markets (including Atlanta, Dallas, L.A., New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.), AT&T’s new video service gives you about 10 channels of streaming TV—but is it worth an extra $15 a month? Also: AT&T’s TV-ready phones, the Access and the Vu.
