Gmail glitch hampers PayPal use

A problem this week hampered some Gmail users trying to use their PayPal accounts.

The problem caused Gmail to reject some legitimate PayPal service e-mails, Google confirmed in a statement Friday. The problem, reported Tuesday, prevented people from using Gmail to receive confirmation e-mails, set up new accounts, or reset passwords for eBay’s online payment system.

eBay will consider selling Skype

Has eBay about had it with Skype?

New eBay CEO John Donahoe told the Financial Times the online auctioneer will consider selling Skype if it can’t find a way to make the service better help eBay’s e-commerce business.

Google CEO says We like Yahoo Very Much

Google Inc CEO, Eric Schmidt said the Google is excited to be trying out a partnership to run at least some of their rivals such as Yahoo Inc Web search advertising sales.

But Google Chief Executive was too careful on describing how far the negotiations with Yahoo had gone or how much they were on closing to an actual business partnership.

Charles Darwin Now Online

Charles Darwin’s first draft called On The Origin Of Species is one of his most priced possession published and the theory that changed science is now available online since last Thursday.

On his website found more than 90,000 images and 20,000 items, the release of the website according to the organizers from Cambridge University Library which holds all the Darwin papers, is the largest in history.

Beware of a new phishing style

If you received an email with your address on it, company name and phone number and appears to be from the US Direct District Court. It is like a subpoena which asks you to attend in a court hearing and ask you to download a document on a website.

Well DON’T! Courts communicate on a regular mail basis and not through email. This must be a malicious email trying to make you download something to get informations on you.
