Google CEO says We like Yahoo Very Much
Google Inc CEO, Eric Schmidt said the Google is excited to be trying out a partnership to run at least some of their rivals such as Yahoo Inc Web search advertising sales.
But Google Chief Executive was too careful on describing how far the negotiations with Yahoo had gone or how much they were on closing to an actual business partnership.
But Schimdt had nothing to say, during a conference call with their investors for the company’s first quarter report, but kind words for Yahoo Inc. The company’s most rival turned to a potential business partner.
“It’s nice working with Yahoo and we like them very much”
He declined making further comments on their negotiations with Yahoo, which has been in constant look for other partners to strengthen its hand in transacting with Google opponent Microsoft Corp on the software giant’s take offer for Yahoo.

No matter what Yahoo is on everybody’s lips now, and that’s good news for them after being in the background for so long.
They also have those great 1.99 domain names. Picked up one last night.

Yeah, it might be about 12 for the second year, but I renew at godaddy. The had a renew for 7 and get an extra year free deal last week. So total for 3 years was 9 dollars. Most people get one .com for one year at that price. And all these programs are still running.
This is totally off topic of your post, but I imagine hearing about deals is still good.
