MyBlogLog Now On Bluetooth
MyBlogLog started an experiment at eTech and SXSW that supports Bluetooth technology to detect the people around you. This Java based service was then named Meetspace but now known as MBL Mobile that works both on Blackberrys and Bluetooth enabled laptops.
Once you have installed the Java applet and login your Bluetooth ID to your MyBlogLog ID, you will now be able to see other users of MyBlogLog within the range of 30 feet who are also using this service. Their avatars will also show up on a page called People Around You and into People Encountered Most.
People Around You are those currently detected near you and the People Encountered Most are those you found yourself near most of the time. You can also click on users profile to see their activity and currently joined groups.
This service only works when you have a group of people around you who use it in the same area. It has a privacy issue MyBlogLog users should read first before signing up.
